Movie Review: Confessions of a Shopaholic
I really liked this movie, although it looks dumb and not worth watching. That was my impression when I heard what it was about, but then I heard some positive reviews about it and decided I wanted to see it after all, so I watched it today at my aunt's house.
The movie is about a college grad landing a job as a financial journalist in New York City to support where she nurtures her shopping addiction and falls for a wealthy entrepreneur.
It has some very funny moments, and very good acting. This movie stars Isla Fisher and Hugh Dancy, a perfect match I think. And even though I hate shopping and I hate dressing rooms, and would rather wear sweats and a tshirt in public than high heels and zebra striped pants, I thought it was funny and lots of financial lessons were learned.

Elsewhere - and other things
I finished a book today called "Elsewhere" by Gabrielle Zevin.
I gave it 2 stars, meaning "It was Ok".
The author's 3rd person perspective style didn't suit me, and I got the impression the author had a basic plot in mind but improvised pretty much through the whole thing. There were several swearwords and some preachiness. I wouldn't technically recommend it. Plus, a man named Owen falls in love with the main character when he is already married and nearly had a kid.
I've recently become obsessed with these fruit pies. You could probably find them at the Maceys near you for only $0.99. There's no way to explain how good it is....
And I don't know whether you've already invented this yourself, but I think I invented a tasty, easy snack.
I named it the "C.B.B. Delight".
1. Take a tortilla
2. Spread a heaping spoonful of Refried Beans down the middle and spread it out.
3. Sprinkle with grated cheese (Handful) and put in the microwave for 40 seconds.
4. Get some BBQ sauce and pour at least 1/4 cup down the middle of your tortilla.
5. Fold, cool, and eat! Yum!

Far and Away
I've heard of Tom Cruise before but never knew he was that cute when he was younger!
I recently saw the movie "Far and Away" with Tom Cruise and Nicole Kidman.
As you all know, I'm the kind of girl who would rather watch a straight up Romantic Action than any other genre of movie.
I love this movie- and I give it 6 out of 5 stars!!!!
