you go into your settings when you sign in to your account. However, the word verification is to keep spammers out. If you take it out and you still allow anonymous commenting, you might be setting yourself up for trouble.

hey, i read lots of blogs without word verification and i have a blog without word verification and none of us ever got any spam! so turn it off please!
